Computed-Aided Design
It Starts with a CAD Model
A CAD model, or “Computed-Aided Design”, is a 3d digital model of an object that encompasses a meticulously detailed rendering.
The CAD model enables us to provide customers with a realistic preview of the final jewelry piece. This digital representation allows for modifications and adjustments, ensuring that the final product meets the client’s expectations in terms of style, size, and overall aesthetic. This process normally takes 2-5 days to complete before the next phase: Wax Model
Making it personal
Forming A Wax Model
The wax model allows us to assess important factors such as size, proportion, and overall balance. This provides the invaluable chance to make any necessary modifications or enhancements, ensuring your jewelry is flawless. Our staff will go over the wax model with you in person; ensuring its size, thickness, and details are to your specifications.
Once the wax model is perfected and approved, it serves as the foundation for the next phase: Casting.
Idea to Reality
Forming A Cast
At this stage, the wax model undergoes a transformation into metal, whether it be gold, silver, or platinum. The wax is encased in a mold, and during the casting process, the wax melts away, leaving a space that is then filled with molten metal. This technique ensures that the final piece stays true to the original wax model’s design while being crafted in a more permanent and luxurious material.
Making it YOurs
Your Own Stones
Stone setting is a crucial step in the production of fine jewelry, as it not only enhances the visual appeal but also ensures the secure placement of gemstones that are selected considering their size, color, clarity, and cut to match the desired design. It is essential to accurately measure the gemstones’ dimensions to ensure they fit securely into the corresponding setting: Metal Prong Setting, Bezel Setting, Pavé and Channel Setting.
Once the gemstones are securely set, the piece undergoes a thorough final inspection to ensure their alignment, symmetry, and overall appearance. Any excess metal or imperfections are carefully removed, and the jewelry piece is polished to the desired finish.
One of a kind
Polish & Finish
When jewelry is cast, whether in gold, silver, or another precious metal, the process leaves the surface with imperfections such as rough spots, irregularities, or even small metal remnants. This step helps smoothen the surface of the jewelry, reducing the chances of snagging or getting caught on clothing or other objects. This contributes to the overall durability and longevity of the piece. Post-casting polishing significantly improves the overall appearance of the jewelry and achieves that stunning mirror-like shine.
